Professional Consultation (Pet)

The Professional Consultation is required for all new clients before the purchase and in-person implementation of a custom training plan, and helps us better understand you, your dog, situation, and needs. Purchase of the private training plan is recommended following professional consultation, but not required if you change your mind or are not ready to start training.
Results of the professional consultation for new clients are valid for 6 months if you decide later that you would like to begin training. After 6 months, a new professional consultation will need to be purchased before moving forward with your first in-person training.
Existing clients who have completed the professional consultation and training program with DNA K9 may enter additional training programs or attend private lessons without purchasing a new professional consultation for 12 months following completion of their last training session with DNA K9.
A comprehensive initial consultation completed either over the phone or virtual meeting to discuss training goals and planning, address behavioral problems, and potential paths forward to reach your desired canine training outcomes. Includes in-depth assessment of your dog’s history, behavioral dynamics, and a copy of the consultation report and recommended training plan emailed to you.
DNA K9 does not train or provide advice for dogs trained in personal protection or police apprehension. However, we may be able to forward your case to someone qualified to help and there is no charge for this. If DNA K9 is unable to take your case, we will issue a full refund following the professional consultation.
