Getxent Tube (HRD) - Individual
100% real human decomposition odors / Odor 100% accurate / No-pseudo / Compatible with underwater use
Approved by: search & rescue associations, civil protection
The human remains detection (HRD) Getxent tube provides a safe and effective way to train HRD K9s in real-world conditions. The HRD Getxent tubes release the selected odor accurately and continuously for up to six months, allowing for long-term training. It is now possible for 7 odors of human remains and allows you to train even if you don’t have access to the target material.
Getxent tubes are a patented technology of Polymer Odor Capture and Release. (Patent WO2018206808)
Shipping and delivery
Made-to-order. Please allow 2 weeks for shipping HRD odor tubes. For odor tube references not in stock (inventory on the way), please allow 4 weeks for shipping.
Individual Getxent tubes are shipped in a glass vial, sealed in a metallized odor barrier bag, and secured in an airtight container for shipping.
Specifications
1x HRD Odor Getxent tube already impregnated with real human decomposition odor for seven days.
Tube dimensions: 8x35 mm / 0.3x1.4 in.
Tube weight: 0.93 g / 0.002 lbs
Shelf life: 6 months
Applications
Search and Rescue Operations: locate missing persons, disaster victims, or individuals in areas with difficult terrain. They can help search teams narrow down the search area by identifying the odor of human remains.
Forensic Investigations: In criminal investigations, HRD K9s assist forensic teams in locating human decomposition. They can be instrumental in crime scene investigations, helping law enforcement find evidence that might otherwise be challenging to locate.
Natural Disasters: HRD K9s are deployed in the aftermath of natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, or hurricanes, to locate victims buried under debris. Their ability to detect the odor of human decomposition can significantly speed up the recovery process.
Mass Fatality Incidents: In situations involving mass casualties, such as airplane crashes or large-scale accidents, HRD K9s can be used to locate and recover the deceased. This is crucial for identifying victims and providing relief to families.
Historical and Archaeological Sites: HRD K9s can be employed in archaeological contexts to locate ancient burial sites or historical graves. Their sensitive noses can detect even trace amounts of decomposition, aiding researchers in uncovering the past.
